Mathias Kläui and Jairo Sinova with collaborators have published an extensive review achieving efficient spin-wave propagation over micrometer distances in thin films of the insulating antiferromagnet hematite with large magnetic domains while evidencing much shorter attenuation lengths in multidomain thin films.
